Stephanie Guevara is a medical assistant. She has many duties at our practice. Her daily duties may include checking patients in/out, collecting payments, answering phone calls and more.
Mrs. Axia Wilson is a board certified physician assistant with background experience in neurology, geriatrics, primary care and emergency medical services. She graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program based in San Antonio, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Mrs. Wilson also practices medicine in the Army National Guard.
She is dedicated to providing quality, evidence-based medicine with compassion.
Complex cases are a welcome challenge with opportunities for learning and growth. Experience gained practicing medicine in a neighboring neurology practice is what sparked an interest in infectious disease.
Mrs. Wilson lives with her husband, daughter and three dogs. She enjoys new experiences, reading, free writing, traveling and family time.
C. Michael Lewis, DO FACOI
Dr. Lewis was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania into a military family. As a child he moved to West Virginia, where he earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Lewis went on to complete his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. His interest in epidemiology led to a completion of a CORE program in Epidemiology with the CDC.
For the past 29 years Dr. Lewis has practiced Infectious Diseases in Michigan, with a special interest in HIV, diabetic wound infections and prosthetic joint infections. During that time he taught students, interns and residents in infectious disease.
New to the state North Carolina, Dr. Lewis and looks forward to putting down new roots with his family Stephanie, Carla, and Kenneth. He enjoys spending time riding his Harley-Davison Motorcycle, as well as working out at the gym and exploring new places.
A native of the Florida gulf coast, Jennifer Wilson is a board certified physician assistant who graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of South Florida.
Jennifer spent several years working in emergency medicine both in the field and in hospital settings. This has given her a unique ability to prioritize care and recognize potential complications early in treatment. Her time spent in emergency medicine fueled a deep passion in the treatment of infectious disease.
Advanced training and education reinforced with field experience has provided Jennifer with the tools necessary to practice evidence based medicine and proactively identify, diagnose, and treat diseases to help you regain control of your life and improve your state of well being.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys riding and jumping horses on the competitive circuit and spending time with her family and German Shepherd. She enjoys traveling and being outdoors. “

Kiara Hanton is a medical assistant. Her daily duties include collecting and documenting patient's vital signs, answering phone calls, assisting with exams, etc.
Dr. Savaliya is the owner and founder of ID Care®. He was born in Surat, Gujarat, India. He received his medical degree from B. J Medical College, Gujarat University. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, New York then completed fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Carilion Virginia Tech School of Medicine.
Dr. Savaliya is one of among the top rated doctors in Infectious Diseases in North Carolina. He practices evidence based medicine, love to accept challenging cases in Infectious Diseases and strongly believes in life long learning. Dr. Savaliya enjoys teaching future generation of doctors, as an assistant professor of medicine he serves at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM) and Edward Via School of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM).
Dr. Savaliya lives with his wife Maithily, his 2 sons Vandan, Akshar and a daughter Meera in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He loves reading, travelling, gardening, spending time with his big family and volunteers at BAPS temple in Raleigh.
As our office manager, Jessica McCauley is responsible for ensuring that our practice runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. While carrying out the tasks of a medical assistant, some of her other duties include coordinating staff, sending referrals, maintaining faxes, scheduling procedures, setting patients up with IV Antibiotic Home Infusion, Home Wound Care, Prior Authorizations and more. She takes great pride in communicating with patients on a professional but personal level and has no problem going the extra mile for any patient. Jessica lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina with her daughter. She loves helping people and enjoys cooking.
